Bridging Research and Industry

IceCirc GmbH is led by an interdisciplinary team combining:

  • System architecture design for scalable quantum processors
  • Cryogenic RF and mixed-signal IC design
  • Quantum device integration
  • Advanced IC concept engineering
  • Software and control-system integration
  • Product strategy and executive management

With backgrounds spanning quantum computing research and the semiconductor industry, our team understands both scientific rigor and industrial scalability.

We are uniquely positioned to solve the electronic scaling challenge that will define the future of quantum computing.

Meet the Team

Our roots lie in the Institute for Integrated Computing Architectures (ICA / PGI-4), where more than a decade of research has shaped a system-level understanding of scalable quantum hardware — from cryogenic readout and control to multiplexing, automated qubit tuning, and the co-design of electronics across the millikelvin, 4 K, and room-temperature domains.

At IceCirc, we turn this research foundation into ultra-low-power cryogenic ASICs that operate inside the cryostat, close to the qubits. By rethinking control and readout electronics from first principles, we reduce thermal load, cut cable complexity, and enable architectures designed to scale from laboratory systems to economically viable million-qubit quantum computers.
